the ice cream part is really well done! but the cup needs more work. both shading and the shape. it looks like one side is off the table due to the shadow. and you need more light on the right.

Hey, if you're going to do an ice cream study, you can't just make the ice cream look good and then not care about the rest and then receive criticism about it and use that in your defense. It doesn't hold water. The whole image should be of good quality, not just one part, or it looks very inconsistent.

but i really did not mean that as a defense it is an after statement from others that saw the artwork and talked to me personally....it was the comments that tell me that it doesnt fly....not my initial plan........thanks for the observations

While you are at it, maybe change the background a bit too? right now it's rather dull.
